About Art of the Cowgirl

In order to encourage and assist emerging artists of the western genre, Art of the Cowgirl provides a showcase through an annual gathering that celebrates cowgirls and their artistic contributions to western lifestyle. In so doing, it raises the necessary funds to support emerging artists in expanding their knowledge and skills via fellowships with master artists in their field.

The Event

We will feature female makers, including master artists, silversmiths, braiders, saddlemakers, and horsewomen. The event will not only provide entertainment and honor women of the west, but also provide fellowships to individuals to further their knowledge with master artists in the trade of choice. The contributions of these cowgirl makers are truly worth celebrating and we look forward to sharing them with you.

Art of the Cowgirl is a gathering to celebrate cowgirls and their contributions to western lifestyle and culture, to raise funds to support up and coming artists to expand their knowledge and skills via fellowships with master artists in their field. Event includes a trade show, music, all women’s ranch rodeo, elite ranch horse sale, world’s greatest horsewoman, art auction, horse clinician demonstrations, colt starting, stock dog demonstration, trick riding, artist demonstrations, and much more!

Kids 15 and under are free. Tickets are fully refundable up until the event. (No refunds after the event). Tickets will also be sold at the gate each day of the event.

Art of the Cowgirl Elite Horse Sale

The Art of the Cowgirl Elite Horse Sale is a unique event that will offer a select group of horses that are the product of some of the handiest women in the ranching industry. We selected a small group of horses that showcase an equally talented group of horsewomen, and provide the highest quality prospective mounts for potential buyers. It is our goal to exhibit the kind of horses that have seen a real days work and have been exposed to a variety of situations.

5 Day Pass. This gets you into the event January 19-23rd. All access pass to all competitions, riding clinics, horsemanship demonstrations, artist demonstrations, music, tradeshow, and more!
